Club points booking option Missing from VSN dashboard?

The section for booking with Club Points which was below the green section for dealing with Staroptions seems to have disappeared from my desktop dashboard.

Did you pay your Club Dues fee late last year?

Your option that is available online is to Elect For Club Points. This would be the only way you can use Club Points to book with the Abound program. Without an ownership elected for Club Points, the use Club Points option will not be available."
 
That makes no sense.

I still see the green and blue/grey sections, I have no club points (elected or otherwise)

I still have a week/StarOptions left for 2025, and most of our ownerships are not booked for 2026, and I have a few banked options
 
Ugh, I hope that's not the way this is going to work.
You may want to cancel your existing Vistana reservation if you find a better option while searching through Abound.

You should be able to elect for 2027 ownership currently, have you already used those ownership weeks somehow? Given you can elect 2027 and borrow back into 2026, it seems sensible that you should still be able to search for availability for 2026 ...

I have not used 2027 yet. Just last week I was able to check availability for club points in anticipation of electing and making a booking. Now I can't see that option.

The only thing that changed is that my resale Lagunamar unit from Timeshare Nation just landed in my account

In the top right corner, there’s a dropdown under your name to see your Star Options and Club Point balance. If the Club Point balance link is still active, it will take you over to the Abound Program.

It is possible that new Lagunamar week did something when they added it. Who knows. Do you only own voluntary ownerships?

It sounds like they are just giving you some made up answer because they don't know the answer and they want to tick the box that they replied to you so they can close out your inquiry and move on to the next person. This is how customer service works at all companies now.
