Hello everyone! I am in the process of buying a resale of Club la Pension. The deed is for unit 502 though the unit is floating. I was curious if anyone has any experience with the 5th floor? I also was curious if anyone has had issues with getting a room in the weeks 40 to 50 time? I know that's not really a high volume tourist time for NOLA, but wanted to ask :)

It doesnt matter what your room number is...Its a floating weeks ownership. You will likely never see your own unit> I own one of the 2 seventh floor units and no one sleeps there anymore, They have been converted to offices.

concerning weeks 40-50 Halloween is a very popular time in new orleans, And because this is a floating weeks ownership , dont wait to make your reservation. . If you wait too long you may not get anything at all.
 
Yes! I have done Halloween before when in my twenties, now that I have a small child I doubt I will be going anywhere for Halloween for a while. :) We were thinking November this year. So I will go ahead and talk with my husband about a good time to go. Thanks!
 
We stay at Club La Pension a lot through Bluegreen - and it is always a tough ticket to get in. You really have to plan quite a few months out - especially during the more popular times. If you want a holiday week, I would plan even further out.
In general, we are finding it harder to get into timeshares in New Orleans - I guess because it is such a popular destination -with a relatively few number of time shares and many of them small.
Hope you enjoy! We love the property - great location and some really nice renovations.
