I put an offer in on a Hawaii week with Redweek.
The closing cost were more than the week so I said no thank you. They said they have no choice on Hawaii that the closing in Hawaii is always 1,000

Closing Costs: $1000 includes full closing with title insurance
Resort Transfer Fee: $299
Estoppel Fee:$25
Admin Fee: $99

Closing fees on the last few Marriott HI I purchased were around $650 each. Full closing, estoppel, transfer (no title insurance if I recall), but that makes a big difference

You don't need title insurance for an inexpensive week. Closing fees for Hawaii are high only if you need escrow. If you don't need escrow, then you could use LT Transfers or a similar company, the fees would be $200-$300.

Maybe it’s just a Redweek thing. No way I was going to pay it.

Redweek likes you to use their closing company, and likes you to pay for title insurance (not really necessary). We used them several years ago and closing took forever because they didn't seem to know how to do an Hawaiian timeshare. The next Hawaii timeshare we bought, we used LT Transfer. Everything went smoothly and for a fraction of the price.
