Back Porch Timeshare Closing Services

I have used them twice for my North Carolina closings as a seller. They do closing and escrow for $395. I first used them for a Bidshares auction. I believe the two are affiliated.

For an Outer Banks resort, Outer Banks Resort Rentals in Nags Head would close weeks even if they didn't sell them when the Beards were running the business. I suspect the new owner probably does, too, but I have not heard that definitely. If not, the attorney she uses from Currituck County probably would. Stan Deatherage of Deatherage and Associates in Washington, NC has handled closings for HOA resales at a couple of OBX resorts, and would be another possibility.

They may not now. The North Carolina State Bar has been cracking down on unauthorized practice of law by these out of state closing companies and issued a bunch of letters of warning.

I got my check in the mail this week for a North Carolina timeshare they closed for me. I appreciate the mention in this thread of other possibilities since I figure it's only a matter of time before Back Porch Closings will stop handling these as well.
