Can anyone recommend a good one?

The clock radios we have are all analog radios. Since they tend to drift off the radio station, some mornings we wake up to static. Maybe there's a Xmas solution available now.

Portable Digital radio

I have The Sonido Radio it is Portable digital receiver am/fm TV/ weather plus alarm bought from C.C. Crane http://www.ccrane.com/. Purchase on ebay direct from them cheaper than their catalog. Sounds great and holds stations .

I have a Sony (Model ICF-C303) from the late 80's that I bought years ago because it was the only one I could find at the time with a digital tuner and I lived near mountains and the dial tuner just wouldn't do.

Looks like Sony still has one model with a digital tuner: ICF-C773

I personally would not buy another clock radio without a receiver for the atomic clock in Colorado. They keep almost perfect time, and will reset themselves after a power outage. You can find them with digital tuners too. Here's a link to some at Amazon:

Edit to add that the Sangean is a good brand, and it has digital tuning.
