Citron substitute

Does anyone have any suggestions for a substitute for citron in a cheesecake recipe? I cannot find citron at this time of year anywhere.

Maybe you could put the cheesecake inside the Citroen.

That's what they do over in France.

Alan, I was like you and immediately thought of either Renault or Peugeot as possible substitutes.

But you are correct there is NO substitute for the 2 CV!

Lemon or lime I guess. There's some stuff that comes up if you search for "Citron substitute".

I think I'd use a bit of lemon and a bit of orange. A Meyer lemon would probably work well, if they're in the stores now (they might be out of season; not sure.)

If you eat too much cheesecake, you won't fit inside a Citroen.
