Chat function - non USA owners

Anyone have any work around for the chat function, it has not worked for me for more than a year but I used to be able to access via the "contact us" section now that doesn't work, then someone suggested the MVC app and it works 1 out of 10 times, otherwise have to delete the app and re-download. From asking around seems to work as normal for USA customers so seems the European owners are left out as usual, when you ask when you eventually get them they say clear cache, cookies etc but I know its not that as I have asked friends to also try and same issue. It's a useful function for me when it works as open much later than Cork so I can get things done after work.

Have you tried a VPN set in the US?

As ever, there seem to be many inconsistencies?
I have though just used the MVC App to successfully connect to the chat function.
(I am in the UK and using NordVPN but connected to the UK)

Tried it tonight and no joy, pop up box in bottom right of screen does not appear.
Maybe you've been black balled, LOL. I just signed on and it's there right now for me to chat. I almost never use it but rather use the email option which has worked great. When I have used the chat, it's been universally not helpful. I know others have had different experiences but when I have tried to use it there were either things they could not do and/or they seemed to be less knowledgeable/experienced advisors.

You have to type Agent and then click Yes to be connected to a live agent. My default browser has ad-blocker on so it doesn't support chat. I switch to another browser where the chat button appears.

It has done for me anyway and I have always had to type “agent” perhaps up to 3 times to then get through to a real advisor.
Yes I know how to get the agent but the pop up doesnt even come up in the first place so I cant even get that far.

I've tried chrome, Firefox, safari, Brave, its going on for over a year for me.

Thanks for checking, its this icon bottom right doesnt come up for me in any browser. I've had a few Marriott friends from Ireland check and doesn't come up for them either, strange.

I've tried chrome, Firefox, safari, Brave, its going on for over a year for me.
I am in the US but you might try other locations using a VPN as well. As you sure you do not have an add blocker of any type or pop ups disabled? Have you tried other computers? Have you tried other locations in case your ISP is blocking it for some reason. I generally think of Chrome as my best option where there are compatibility issues. Even though I'm not a big fan of chat, this must be very frustrating.
