Hello,

Unfortunately I had to cancel my flight in July to Europe. I was booked through Chase Saphire using points. I booked my flight on American/British at the beginning of March prior to Covid.
I am happy that I was able to get all my points back, no questions asked the entire call took 3 min. The rep answered right away.. I thought I was going to be on hold for hours.
I consider this good news .. I am relieved that I got this done.

I cancelled a flight to Europe I booked with CSR-UR for last week.
I took a credit from the airline rather than go thru CSR for a refund.

(1) I'd used points and a CC, and (B) paid the airline for an upgrade,
so I thought that it would'a been a mess trying to get it all straight.

A credit was okay w-me, since we'd rebook Europe one day anyway.
The airline refunded my upgrade.

.

Near the sea.
I booked a one way ticket for two in October on Air Canada from Orlando to Montreal. I was supposed to take a cruise from Montreal to Miami which has been cancelled. AC website says they are now giving no expiration date vouchers if you cancel flight. When I called Chase to do this they were only able to get two year voucher from AC. AC is not refunding $$ to anyone who booked non refundable tickets. So no points back, only two year voucher.

I had the similar experience with Chase travel. I had a booking to Alaska for June 20 that I canceled. On one quick call, points were returned.
