Chase/Ritz Carlton Marriott Visa

I paid my maintenance fees this week on my visa card. I also banked points online using the Vistana website. I didn't get the 6x Marriott bonus points for the $99 banking fee which shows up as vistana.com
 
Using the Chase Visa to pay Vistana MFs doesn't earn the multiplier. You would have had to use the SPG Amex to get the multiplier. I don't know why, they really need to fix this, but it is how it is.
 
I had the same issue last year when I paid my MF with the ritz carlton Visa. I called customer service and they manually credited the additional points to my account. Last year I received 5 points per dollar on my MF. This year it would be 6 points on the Ritz Card. I will be using my SPG Luxury card to pay the MF this year to receive the $300 marriott credit and 6 points per dollar. This card is a no brainer since the Effective Annual Fee is $150 after Marriott credit and you receive a 50K Annual stay certificate.
