Chad Stuart, who found stardom as the chief musical force of the duo Chad & Jeremy during the so-called British Invasion in the mid-1960s, died Sunday at his home in Hailey, Idaho. He was 79.

Saw them at the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT several years ago. It's sad how many people we've seen there who are no longer with us.

The Summer of '65 is when I was getting ready to head into Junior High School. I was glued to my transistor radio. Chad and Jeremy were a big part of my musical memories of those days. What was that - fifty five years ago? Jeez...

I hope he had a full life, and no regrets.

Chad had been retired, Jeremy still performs, sometimes with Peter Asher from Peter and Gordon. Gordon Waller past Away a few years ago. Chad died of pneumonia followed by a fall. They were very talented and I enjoyed their music.
