Do you have any information about Cathedral Ledge Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire? It got some really bad reviews many in TUG about 15 years ago. But then they updated. I don't see too many recent reviews. But those that I see are generally OK.
It has been several years since we've stayed there. (Goodness....I guess more than several...maybe 20 years or so...YIKES!) First off, remember that it is an older New England resort. It is not a Marriott, not in Orlando, not Smuggs, not fancy-schmancy. The location is great...beautiful views. It is right on Rt 16, so if road noise bothers you, it might not be your spot. It is located in Intervale, which is between Bartlett/Glen and North Conway. We had a townhouse...so there were 3 levels. Great space. (There are also some smaller 2BR sleeps 6 units on the property...I've never stayed in those.) It had a galley style kitchen, dining room, living room on first floor, a master with a jacuzzi and second bedroom on 2nd floor, and a loft with a futon. It is likely more a "base-camp" sort of place. I know that they've renovated the outside of the condos. I remember seeing the work going on when we've driven past. I'd have no issue with staying there, but we're not particularly choosy.
