Had the surgery one month ago, left eye only. Still putting in drops. I expected clear vision by now but still can't see clearly without my glasses. How long should recovery take? My right eye sees well without glasses.
Except for the cataract, do you have perfect vision?
I had cataract surgery, but I will still always need glasses, because removing the cataract does not cure other vision problems.
That isn't necessarily correct. You get a new lens with the cataract surgery. If the correct one is implanted, your vision can be perfect. I am a little anxious, having had both LASIK and RK, and the doc who did those retired, I have some trepidatiouon of a new doc doing the correct math to get the right lenses to implant in my eyes when the time comes.

I decided I will probably have to wear glasses because of my astigmatism. I can see pretty well but not as well as I thought. My Dr said that the lenses made for astigmatism correction always don't work that well and often give a halo to the eyesight. I can get by most of the day without my glasses but will deffinitely need them at night. I am reading that most of you Tuggers don't need glasses after the surgery, but do you have an astigmatism problem? My spouse has the same problem as I do even after the cataract was removed. Things are much brighter, tho.
