I haven’t seen a Hertz members discount code for a while, but there is a Marriott Bonvoy “Special” with them

We do also have MVC Owner Specials discounts (not with Hertz), although although these are not too easy to find

Agree with Barry...the discounts are pathetic on Hertz, Budget, etc. through MVC. Costco has the best non-corporate discounts I've seen in the US but I have no idea how you'd join from Europe or if that's even possible.

Sometimes the airlines have deals if you book through their travel portals. Same with credit cards so you might want to try there.

Interval has some discounts too if you are a member- not sure how good those are either. Check your credit cards too.

My tip- become a member of the loyalty club for whatever brand you rent from. They make pick up much easier- some are skip the counter or member lines- enterprise has the emerald aisle for members where you can pick the car you want.
And research which have pick up at the airport vs needing to shuttle.
To me less hassle is worth more than saving a few bucks.
