Cancun Royals II: oceanfront and will they move me?

I'm quite confused about which resorts to put on my next Cancun request. Althought I love the Royal Mayan, I don't want to be stuck in one of the non-oceanview units. Do the RC, RI, RS also have non-oceanview units?

Is the Royal Sands a more difficult trade? I'll be placing the request for next summer, but with only 2 weeks on my available list.

And, are they still switching traders around to units other than the confirmed?

The Royal Mayan & VCI would be the only resorts that you could possibly get a non oceanview unit. More than likely you would get a oceanview. Your chances of getting a trade into the Royal Sands in the summer months would be very good if you allow enough time. Getting a oceanfront unit would be luck in my opinion but possible. Regardless you will have a great time at the Royals Resorts.

Those resorts only have oceanview and beachfront units, there are no lagoon view units like at VCI and the Royal Mayan.

lagoonview

The possibility of lagoon view is very small, but if you're concerned, don't list the RM or VCI, and just put in for the Royal Islander, Royal Caribbean, or Royal Sands. All units at the RI, RC, and RS have an ocean view. We've never gotten a bad trade, and several times we've ended up with ocean front units.

Only once did we get moved to a different unit than the one II initially listed, and it was still a good location - there really aren't any bad locations at those three resorts.
