Cancelling a reservation?

Went to cancel a reservation today. I’m still in the 15 day cancellation window. I have 2 reservations for the same resort on similar dates but no exact Wyndham La Belle Maison. 2 different confirmation numbers. When I went to cancel the reservation that does not have a guest confirmation on it I got this message:
This owner reservation is a companion to [RCO0038134360BR] and requires the deduction of 1 number of Guest Allowances for remaining guest reservations before it can be cancelled. 2 Guest Allowances are available for Timeshare Owner Priority Reservations in 2025.

What do you all think of this? The 360BR I put the name on in November and it deducted the guest confirmation and the priority waiver at that time.

Well you don't get your GC back in cancelled, so I guess it is saying your don't get your Owner Priority 2 allowance back either.

I think you could argue that is you needed the 2nd and it was used up by the cancellation. I don't know though, how sticky wyndham would be on that, but I would think you have some wiggle room.

I do think they count GC when they are applied, but count Owner Priority based on when the actual reservation is.

The reservation I want to cancel is still in my name no guest name on it yet. The reservation in my name the notice said it was a companion reservation to the reservation that is in the guest name which I did in November. It’s a priority resort and it used the priority waver from 2024.
