Can you take bus from Vidanta Riviera to Playa Del carmen?

Vidanta when I was there years back offered a shuttle service there. I think it was free at the time. I don't know if they still have it.

Yes you can still walk to the highway and take a bus to Playa Del Carmen. Be careful crossing the highway. The Playa Express is still running tho I think it moved to a different location a few blocks away. The resorts do still run a shuttle, but there is a charge. Sometimes it worth it to shuttle in and ride the bus back as it drops off on the resort side of the highway.

Can you still walk to highway and catch bus to PDC? Thanks

I believe there are also collectivos vans that you could take to PDC
That is how many of the Vidanta staff travel to work.

What’s the difference between the bus and the collectivo? Thanks! We’ll be there in about a week!! I have a couple of twenty something boys that may want to head out on their own and won’t want to pay for a taxi. They are well traveled and my one son speaks fluent Spanish.

A collectivo is a van that has to be waved down for it to stop for a passenger(s).
