Can you link your reservations for the same room type in same hotel in advance, or not until check in?

Have several reservations in 3-4 day chunks for a total of two weeks stay in the same room type and worried that we will be moved around or booted from 10am to 4pm

In advance, Just call.

Cheers.

Are they back to back? If so, you can call CS to merge them into 1 reservation, if you need/want that

CS told me you have to do it when you check in...
I have merged reservations many times via CS or myself online. If they are the same unit type and back to back (meaning no gap), they can release one and then add the dates to the other. Not hard. You can do the same online, as long as, the reservation is outside 60 days from the stay. Or, you can just tell them at check in.

CSR can also link the reservations.

I called the resort directly when I had back to back reservations merging regular points and VIP points into one stay. They were able to put the reservation together and I only had to recheck in at the desk on the morning of the "transition." We did not have to take anything out of the room.

Is this at a HGVC property or a hotel as described in your Thread Title?

Good point. I assumed it is HGVC but if it is actually a Hilton hotel, then that is different.

Even then (Hilton hotel) it can easily be done (even more so if the hotel is out on Highway 61 :)).

Cheers.

I have done both - I will write to my Centum+ rep and they have combined the bookings into one. I have also gone to the property and asked them to combine. This is where it gets fun. I usually have to re-key the unit during the stay, there have been a few times the agent working the check-in desk can accomplish this - so I do not need to re-key the unit.

Either way - It's not a huge deal for me and I haven't always used my rep to handle this. If it is a guest booking, I will email to rectify.

I have done it on both hotel stays and timeshare stays. Not Hilton though.

OP just needs to call back and speak with someone more knowledgeable if OP can not do it online.

It is Hilton Lagoon Tower.

I would think they would prefer to leave you in the same room, as long as you have booked the same room code, and possibly even if you don't. The only issue you might want to give thought to is how often you might want a full room cleanup. Many resorts still do every day, but some may not.

In the past when I’ve had other people traveling with me in different rooms, I’ve reached out and requested that the rooms be close together. Although your situation is quite different, I would think getting a message to whoever does the room assignments ahead of time might be worth trying.
