Can points from late cancellation go into EEE?

Hi all,

I will call HRC later today when I have time to be on hold for 30 min, and I’ll ask my question of them.

But I was wondering if anyone here knows the answer: can I cancel a reservation seven days out, get my points back and then deposit them with interval for EEE? The normal deadline to deposit with II for the points in question would be late January. So if they weren’t associated with a reservation, I could deposit them for sure. But I’m not sure if you can deposit points restricted to 60-day use to II.

Hopefully the question makes sense. We’re supposed to head to Carmel over New Years. I want to go but also want to stay home (we’ve been traveling a lot) so I’m just wondering what my options are if we decide to stay home.

Yes, I recently confirmed that cancellations within the 60 day window can still be deposited into EEE without any restrictions.

Relatively new owner here. I think I understand CUP and LCUP but what on earth is RCUP?

Reservation cancelled within 60 days of check in result in restoration of CUP points restricted to reservations within 60 days. These points are then marked RCUP to distinguish them from unrestricted CUP points.
