I have some Bluegreen points that I can't find the time to use. Does Bluegreen permit me to sell them to another Bluegreen owner for one-time use? I know within Fairfield this is permitted.

The answer is NO. You can book a reservation and rent it, though.

Thanks, Boca. This is what I thought but I couldn't find it in the Bluegreen manual I have that said either I could or I could not. It just said I can borrow points from next year. Forgot if they said I could buy needed points from Bluegreen itself.

This is where Fairfield has more flexibility. Fairfield permits you to sell your points for one-time use only and permits the transfer of points to other members.

Selling is a deed changing hands, so it's not "one time" - the points are based on a deed, not air. If you sell, you are done with that contract.

Bluegreen will allow you to book a reservation for someone else, no charge, and you can charge whatever you want to the person whose name you will put it in. You can also give your points to Bluegreen to rent for you.

Or use your points on a week for deposit to whatever exchange co you prefer.
