Can I freeze wine?

Haven't done it myself but have heard of putting wine in ice cube trays to freeze and then put cubes in ziploc bags to use for recipes later.

Yes, I've heard of that one too but I can't imagine having leftover wine, actually.

Thanx everyone. I now have 4 oz freezing as I type. If it freezes completely, I will put it in a zip lock bag in the morning.

I doubt it will freeze completely - to do get it to freeze you would need to churn it, as is done with ice cream to get the ice cream to freeze completely. But you likely will wind up with a frozen exterior and a liquid center.

Thanx Steve, I should have said "properly" instead of "completely" ~ Ron

bon appetite Magazine Says You Can

On page 125 of their September 2011 issue, bon appetite magazine has a small bit on freezing leftover wine from cooking. They recommend freezing it in ice cube trays and then storing the cubes in a resealable freezer bag. By doing so, you can just use a few cubes the next time you cook instead of having to thaw out the whole bottle again.
