MVC owners can reserve like hotel with a nightly discount or they can reserve a single night with points. Does HGVC system have similar feature?

HGVC reservations have a 3-night minimum with points except for a select few by Hilton Club higher-end properties, which do allow single night booking. ANd this is for the member or a guest.

Cheers.

The bHC properties can reserve 1 night with points and open season across HGVC have a 2 night minimum. You can contact CS and convert HGVC points to HH points for a Hilton hotel stay. There is a Max or HH discount for hotel rooms.

You can reserve a minimum of 2-nights using Open Season (paid) which is only allowed w/i 30-days (and if available).

Thank you. I have enough answers.
But I would add that since you ask about friends, while you can gift Club Season reservations made with points the owner has to be present at check-in for Open Season (cash) reservations.

Nevermind! I just read in a different thread that for 2025 HGV changed the Open Season rules to allow Guest Certificates. So you're good to go either way...

It did? I need to look at the new club rules. That is a big change
