When in September 2012 will the new Bacchanal Buffet open in Caesar's in Vegas ?

Per the Concierge at Caesars, they don't know the exact opening day/date in September yet. Looks like it will be a very nice buffet .

Is there still a Harrah's 24hr buffet pass? I think you used to be able to upgrade to the RIO seafood so I am wondering if the Caesar's buffet will be included (probably not) or an upgrade available?? I need to start storing food for the winter.....

Is it normal for restruants in Vegas to open to the public, prior to their grand opening to give staff on hand training ?

The Caesar's Buffet is supposed to be part of the 24 hr. Buffet of Buffets program.

I read that it will be a $10. add on to use the buffet pass for Caesar's buffet. ht still makes it a bargain if you use it for at least one other meal.

I would check one or two days ahead. They might have a soft opening, but not much before that. First they practice on each other, then other hotel workers like maids, doormen, valets, etc. Finally, before opening they invite "hospitality workers" such as concierges and taxi drivers. They also have a "media tasting" and picture taking session, too. They invite these special classes of people figuring they might recommend the place to others.
