Cabo Ground Transportation

Next month we will be staying at Casa Dorada Spa & Golf Resort (Hilton) in San Jose del Cabo. We have received phone calls and emails from GBS International, Inc. to see if we want them to reserve ground transportation to the resort. They called with our name and exchange information. Through email, I requested a shared shuttle for the two of us ($22 per person). I have received a call and they want a credit card to reserve the shuttle. I don't want to give anyone my credit card before checking them out. I called the resort and I can't get an answer from them right now. Has anyone used them or should we just take a taxi to the resort? Thanks.

We never use the resorts concierge folks as they just overbill the real shuttle rate of about $15/person,

All must be booked in advance by CC to a US website and R/T service MUST be booked at the time the inbound transfer is booked to avoid any taxi union problems.

We have used Transcabo before and they were great. Price was cheap, van had A/C and the drivers were friendly and on-time.

Second for TransCabo. I used them 3 times and never had any bad experience. I booked them through their website (google TransCabo), paid online and they were waiting for us at the airport. I booked shared van for up to 10 people, but there were only 5 people including my family. They give a little discount for roundtrip service.

We used Cielito Lindo last month, and paid a little extra for private transportation.

The drivers were waiting for us going both directions. We had a mini-bus coming from the airport, and a Cadillac Escalade heading back to the airport.

I agree with your choice. We used them last time in Cabo and the 3 moves we made were all smooth and on time with an excellent driver and vehicle.
I plan on using them again next January.

I always just walk outside the terminal and buy a seat on the buses waiting outside.

I've never waited more than a few minutes and had more than 4 stops along the way. Cost is $16 per person one way. Concierge at your resort can arrange the same going back, you just can't buy return trip all at once.
