Hi All- We just returned from Hilton in Cabo and sat through their preso. Not interested in all of they presented except for Cabo Azul access via MAX. We did not purchase but it made us wonder about something. We are long time visitors to Cabo and have realized that really the Cabo Azul is a resort we would like to consider owning some day and all the other Hilton stuff does not interest us. We just love returning to the Cabo Azul each year. I am a Marriott Vacation club owner and I used to be able to trade into Cabo Azul before the Hilton acquisition so we have stayed there many times and that is how we know we love that resort.
Question: We are considering to purchase a specific Cabo Azul resale deed (as I mentioned no interest in Hilton or Max etc...). More specifically, perhaps more specifically for Cabo Azul owners, is how many points would be good to purchase Cabo Azul on the second hand market to use only at Cabo Azul in order to get there every year in a 2 bedroom pool or partial view during the summer peak season 4th of July and also after Christmas and over New Years? I looked everywhere for an updated points chart at Cabo Azul but to no avail.
Also anything else I need to be aware about if we purchase a resale deed to Cabo Azul knowing this really is the only resort we would want to come back to each year? Thanks for any advice with "boots on the ground" experience in navigating the Cabo Azul resort!
