2020 First Sunday in October:

Travel in and out of BWI Airport today appeared to be extremely slow as there were very few cars or passengers in the drop off or pick up lanes.

Long Term Parking Lots A and B (with more than 10,000 spaces was completely empty) Located on (Md 162) at 7161 Aviation Blvd between South Camp Meade Road and Andover Road and both the BWI Express Lot and Valet Parking have all been CLOSED.

Cell Phone Lot is Open

Daily and Hourly Parking remains open at a reduced rate.

If you are traveling to BWI by car and need to park your vehicle "Baltimore Washington International Airport Temporary Parking Changes".

Airline Travel must be really slow at BWI.

Yeah - we regretfully didn't park there and used Uber...probably would have been cheaper to just park in the Hourly lot and walk one minute to our car. We didn't check ahead of time.

I think BWI traffic is like 37% of normal, from the latest report (July 2020). We flew out of there late June (ghost town) and then mid-August (much more busy, but still way less than normal).

We parked in hourly garage twice in the past two months. Discounted to $12/day vs. regular rate of $22/day.
