I previously purchased Sheraton flex points 3 years ago. We want to buy more Marriott club points to have more in total, but want to do so on redweek or for resale versus directly from Marriott.

Will these club points join my others in the same account once I pay the fee? Will the maintenance fees be joined as well?

If we end up making it to the 4,000 point mark that gets you to the first “tier” with Marriott, will we still get these benefits if the majority of the points are from redweek?

Thanks for any help! New to buying it resale but will save lots of money this way.

Flex are not the same as Club points. Do you covert your Flex to Club Points? Resale Flex does not get to convert to Club Points so you will need to buy actual Marriott Club points. Probably going to cost you $7-8/point including the fee. You still get the benefits with resale. You will have separate MF bills for each contract that you own

Yes I pay the club dues and elect to convert to club points. Thank you!!

If you buy resale Abound points, there's a $3 per point fee on top of purchase price to activate them. Once they're activated, the points contract is combined with elected points for Owner Level benefits and usage. You will get a separate login for the MVC portal, the same site, when clicking over from Vistana to MVC, but has a few additional menus.

There are several Abound resale listings on TUG Marketplace.
