Buying POINTS TO ADD TO AN EXISTING MEMBERSHIP

I currently have a membership with Villa Group. I am looking to purchase more points for Villa Group properties on TUG Marketplace. Does anyone know if the points can be combined with my existing points or how does it all work if I purchase from TUG marketplace???
