Ok. My name is Spirits and I am a timeshare addict.:D After looking somewhat seriously I have come across a wonderful summer week 2 bedroom converted to points timeshare from Aviawest. The owner wants to sell, we settled on a price and I got the papers on Fri. Then Fri night the owner emails me telling me she got a better offer. What to do. I could not really go through with the deal. She is a young mother and the family needs the extra thousand more than I need another timeshare. So I gave her permission to accept the higher offer. I love her timeshare but she has almost 200000 RCI points I probably would not use up in a hurry. But I could really really try hard to go on more holidays.:p I reluctantly let this one go. Sat. I read that Aviawest is in some financial difficulty. I am rethinking my offer, up it and become an owner. My head tells me run away from this one but my addict side is thinking.....I can make this work. TUGGERS, I need wise councel.

If the resort is in financial difficulty, stay away. You don't know what nasty surprises could be waiting just around the corner. As owners at the Point at Poipu how they're feeling right about now.

If you objective is to lose money then go ahead, otherwise don't.
