When I worked for J Willard Marriott's company it was called Hot Shoppes and a big part of their market was the young crowd at their drive in's

Thats not me in the second picture, but if it had been taken in 1964, it could have been

Sounds like Marriott is in full expansion mode. 30 new Ritz-Carlton's coming worldwide. Let's see how this growth may impact us timeshare owners.

Great Hot Shoppes memories! It was the "fancy" restaurant for a family dinner when I was little (1950s). Mom would get a "hottle" of tea and the ice cream came with little parasols that my sister and I would take home for our dolls...There were 2 or 3 in DC/MD that I remember.
