We are new owners at MCP and would appreciate feedback as to which building(s) we should ask for when making reservations. (Any/all other advice also welcome).

Cypress Harbour is a very nice resort, I am sure you will love it. There is a resort map on the MVCI website or on the top of the Marriott board here there is FAQ document that has the links to lots of Marriott stuff including the resort maps. I am not sure how to attach it for you, but it should not be hard to find.

The big decision are to decide how close to:
1) the main pool/clubhouse/marketplace
2) island pool and walkway to main pool
3) close to activity center
4) kind of away from things and a bit quieter setting

when you look at the map, it will be easy to find those areas based on your preferences. Another considerations is buildings that have been recently refurbished, maybe someone can comment on that. We have been trading the last couple years so haven't been back, but we do like it best of the Marriott resorts in Orlando, and have stayed at most of them.

Have Fun

Cmore - the link/map in the FAQ document definitely helped. Thanks for the help/info!

We just returned from Cypress Harbour - our first stay since the early 90's. It has held up very well over the years. We were in building #65, top floor, overlooking the lake, with afternoon sun. We loved the location.

We walked around the property and noted that most of the buildings have nice views of either the lake, golf course or various little ponds.

Our unit was beautifully decorated. We were surprised, when we noticed that building 63 was being refurbished. According to the girl at the front desk, the carpets, appliances, bedroom furniture & tv are being replaced. She said that bldgs 50-52 have already been done.

I took lots of pictures, so if you want me to send you some from any particular location, or the interior of our unit, don't hesitate to ask.
