I cannot help but note the passing of the creative force behind a childhood favorite:
Buck Henry co-created "Get Smart" (1965-1970), for which he won a writing Emmy.
He also co-wrote screenplays for "The Graduate" (1967) & "What's Up, Doc" (1973),
and co-directed "Heaven Can Wait (1978) with Warren Beatty.
He died of a heart attack at Cedars-Sinai Health Center in Los Angeles. He was 89.
