Bringing a kayak to Huatulco

Hello,
Visiting Huatulco for the first time soon. I have an inflatable kayak that packs up into a duffle bag, and I am hoping to bring it. Is this a horrible idea? Do you think it would be manageable to kayak from one bay to the next, or are they just too far from each other? Any advice, experience, etc. would be much appreciated!
