I got this letter two days ago. Cherrywood Lane is the section of multiple story units. If I recall correctly, they were the units that did not have wood burning fireplaces replaced with electric fireplaces as the one story units did.

Dear Brewster Green Owners, As many of you may know, a fire broke out on January 21, 2025, causing significant damage to units 13, 15, 19, and 21 on Cherrywood Lane in Brewster Green Resort. Because of the extent of the damage, these buildings are currently uninhabitable. However, the rest of the property was not affected. The safety and well-being of our owners and guests remain our highest priority, and we are grateful to report that no injuries resulted from this incident. We are actively working with local authorities, fire investigators, and insurance representatives to assess the full scope of the damage and determine the next steps. At this time, please take note of the following important updates: Reservations & Usage—All reservations for the affected units (13, 15, 19, 21) have been canceled for 2025. We are exploring potential solutions for the owners of these units and will provide further updates as they become available. Insurance & Restoration—We are working closely with the property’s insurance carrier to determine the restoration timeline. Given the situation's complexity, this will be a lengthy process, and we may not have definitive information or a complete restoration timeline for several weeks or even months. Communication & Inquiries: We ask that owners refrain from calling the resort for additional information on the fire and restoration process, as resort staff will not have further details at this time. The Board of Directors and the Management Company will communicate all official updates. If you have any questions, please direct them to bod@brewstergreenresort.com. Sorry to hear this. We enjoyed our stay there in October 2014. Tried to access my review to see if I'd referenced exactly where we stayed but it didn't open.
