Since I often see questions concerning Branson, I just thought I'd talk about a couple of shows DH and I saw last week when we were over there that we both really enjoyed. The Top 10 Rock and Roll Review in the Branson Mall Theatre is a terrific show if you like 50's, 60's and 70's music. The sax player, Marvin Short, is simply great, and the guy who does the Jerry Lee Lewis bit is better than old Jerry Lee himself. Can't recommend it highly enough. It's an evening show.

Also, in the same Branson Mall building, across from the Top 10 show a guy who I think is named Keith Allison does a really amazing tribute to Neil Diamond. I've seen Neil in person a couple of times and, honestly, when I closed my eyes, he was there. This is an afternoon show.

Just thought I'd throw that out for whatever it's worth.

Noah The Musical

We saw Noah and loved it. The theater is beautiful as well as the production. It's like no other. At Christmas time they do the Christmas story. Ask for what they call the balcony although it's stadium seating, so not what you generally think of as balcony. There you get a better over all view of everything going on in the ark. The animals in the ark are something to see. I highly recommend this show. We have been going to Branson twice a year for 15 years and this is the best show we've ever been to.

There are a total of 10 brothers (no sisters). Six of them perform in the show. Their mother passed away of cancer several years ago and a few minutes of the show is a tribute and memorial to her. One of the brothers wrote a song "Love times ten" which plays in the background during a slide show. Has managed to jerk a tear out of me all three times.

As a timeshare owner in Fl and a part-time resident in the Branson area I would also recommend the Keatings - Father & Son out of LasVegas that are appearing at the Branson Star Theatre. Great show!

We just got back--we loved every show! Each one had something different about it. We saw and enjoyed:

Hughes Brothers
12 Irish Tenors
Tony Roi Elvis
Comedy Jamboree
Country 2Nite
SIX

But I have to say one of the best shows we saw (FOR FREE I might add), was Johnny Rodgers at the Branson Mall. He does a show called "Buddy and Beyond" that is a Buddy Holly tribute and he throws in other rock n roll and country/western music. He says each show he does is different. He was great! He was performing at 2pm and 8 pm every day last week, don't know how long that schedule will hold.

We also loved the "show" put on by the singing waiters and waitresses at the Hard Luck Diner.

It was our first trip to Branson and it was way more than we expected--we will surely go back.
