Bought [TUG] membership and account says Guest still

Not sure if I messed up after I purchased trying to connect my existing username. Any idea what to check? Thanks

You have to follow the instructions to change your status to "member."

The info was emailed to you (or will be shortly) and you can also find it here: https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/bulletin-board-help.248812/ (scroll down almost to the bottom where is says TUG membership issues.

In your account options page:

TUG Members: Enter current TUG BBS Member Codeword to inform the BBS of your member status.
You may obtain the BBS Member Codeword by clicking here ( http://tug2.net )and logging into the Member Sign-in page, then on the "TUG Member Dashboard" look at the upper left box for your TUG Member Codeword.

Once you have saved your entry it may take up to an hour for your account status to be updated.
