Booking Rental Cars Through Hilton

I was on the HHonors website a few months ago and found an area of the site that allowed for rental cars to be booked at a discounted rate. It gave a comparison of all the different brands, and the Hilton rates were MUCH better than booking directly through the different rental car sites.

Now I can’t find that section of the site. I don’t remember if it was an add-on option to booking a stay, or if it was a completely separate section. We used it when we were in Orlando in November using Open Season. So, I don’t think it was an add-on option, but I remember that I had to find in in a roundabout way.

Does anybody know how to book rental cars through the Hilton site?

Ok, this was driving my crazy... so I picked up the phone and called Customer Service, and the person I spoke with had no idea of what I was talking about. Then, I called Online Technical Support, and that person had no idea of what I was talking about. After I pushed a little further, he put my on hold to talk to one of the "leads". He came back and thanked me for him learning something new! It seems that there aren't many people that know about this, and you do have to find it in a roundabout way...

- Go to www.hilton.com
- Click the "My Reservations" tab
- Click "Car Rental Details" in the "Existing Travel Reservations" area
- Click "Search For Rental Cars" in the "For Consumers" area

The person I spoke with said he didn't think that you get HHonors points when using this service, but he didn't know for sure. Anyway, I hope this helps!

I haven't compared with other sites yet for this trip, but here are the rates I got for Olando (MCO, not including taxes/fees, 2/18 - 2/25):
