I looked at booking Beach Place Towers in July 2026 and I can book 7,6,5, or 4, days but I cant book 1,2, or 3 days. We are chairmen level so I thought we could book individual days. Any one have had this issue or know why this happened?

Thanks
Jim Mc

Some resorts put restrictions on how many/few days you can book.
It’s apparently up to the individual resort.
CSR can’t even over ride it in my experience.

Sure...at Beach Place Towers and other resorts as well.

Your ownership level allows you to request reservations of varying lengths with or without a points premium depending on your level. However, MVC is free to impose minimum night restrictions of those exchanging into any resort at their sole discretion. This is done to minimize breakage, maximize occupancy rates, and reduce housekeeping expense.

From the Abound Exchange Procedures - "[The] Exchange Company may impose minimum stay requirements for high demand Use Periods at Accommodations at any Component from time to time as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion."

My beef is less about the resorts doing it, it’s more about MVC not having a little pop up when trying to book those 3 nights that says… This resort has a 4 night minimum stay requirement for the window you are trying to book.

Another thing never mentioned in sales meeting.

I agree. I am fine with rules/restrictions, just tell me what they are

When I first notice this, I brought it up at my sales meeting. The rep with many years of experience and his manager said there are no minimum day restrictions.

During a formal conversation with MVC upper management I addressed this issue. Clearly the rules give them the ability to do so but my beef was that one had no way of knowing this was the case. I stated that there needed to be some notification or the other. A footnote, a popup, a note on HUB, a note on the resort page, something. I was told it was so fluid this was not possible after she researched this issue. My response, if it's possible to enter it into the system to restrict stays, it's possible to enter such a notification. She said she'd take it to the appropriate people. In fairness, the lady I was speaking with was VERY helpful. She clearly researched the issues I raised and we spoke several times.

Yes, these people have many years of experience lying to prospects and omitting material facts.
