I have lost track with all the recent changes/consolidations. Which will give me the most BonVoy points if I charge to it when at a Marriott/Starwood hotel or resort? We have both the Bonvoy AmEx and Marriott Rewards Visa card through Chase.

We decided to keep both cards because of the free night each year on each card at hotels that cost up to 35,000 Bonvoy points, which is worth more than the yearly fee.

If you currently have both cards you should be able to find the answer in your online accounts under "benefits". Some of the Chase cards provide 6X and some 3X points for Marriott charges.

We each have Bonvoy Business Cards (different acts) and one Chase Marriott card. Keeping all for the free nights.

Though I wish they would let you add on your own points to those free nights points; a lot of hotels are over 35K points per night.
