good list here.
beach, tampa, gatorland, nasa complex, etc. all are fun. plus the grounds at BC are great and family will enjoy them as well. they have a schedule of stuff for kids that is worth checking out. out kids always enjoy 1 or 2 of the things.
We were just in Orlando a couple of weeks ago and went to Lakeridge Winery in Clermont. About a half hour and a world away from the parks (which I love as well). It was nice drive with beautiful scenery along the way. The tour was perhaps a half hour long with a good video intro. Then we tasted 8 wines in their bar and shop - went from a Cabernet Sauvignon to a blush sparkling wine. The wine was good and the presenter was knowledgeable and engaging. It was a relaxing and enjoyable couple of hours. Not such a good option for little ones but definitely nice for adults.

Thanks!!Been to Bonnet Creek several times and I can't overstate how nice it is just to enjoy the resort itself. Nice pools, lazy river(s). We always go to Orlando with Disney being the main thing we do which means spending as much time at Disney as possible, but we usually try to take a day or half a day at least to enjoy the resort. Every time we say "we have to spend more time at the resort next time." I just remarked to my wife the other day we need to take a vacay to Bonnet Creek just to enjoy the resort and relax...
This is super helpful. Thank youWe have been going to Bonnet Creek for many years and as much as we enjoy the parks, we also like to explore. We found several places that the whole family loves. Old Town in Kissimmee is a fun night out. Always seems to be a car show or cruise night going on. https://myoldtownusa.com/ The Orlando Eye is a neat place to spend the evening after dinner. Lots to do here! https://www.officialorlandoeye.com/ Wild Florida is hands down our favorite place outside the parks. Take the 1 hour airboat ride. You won't regret it! https://wildfloridairboats.com/gator-and-wildlife-park/ Blue Springs State Park is a bit of a drive but VERY worth it, especially if the Manatees are in the river. We spotted dozens of them in the river! https://www.floridastateparks.org/park/Blue-Spring. Maybe the best dining out meal we have ever had was at the Black Angus steakhouse on International. We NEVER miss dining here when in Orlando. http://www.blackangusorlando.com/. Don't forget to look for Groupons. Orlando Eye had ones that were 50% off! Have fun!
