We're heading to Bonnet Creek in a few weeks with a large family group after we check out of Marriott Vacation club resorts. We have a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom booked. I was thinking about asking for Tower 6, the main building, or Tower 3 (heard Tower 3 has been recently refurbished??).

Does anyone know which buildings are recently refurbished? My mom and dad and brother that will be with us have never stayed at a Wyndham property and we want it to be a good first experience.

Thanks.

were here now and they are working on tower 3

Thanks, Joan. :D

Tower 6 is ALL presidential units AFAIK. If you have deluxe units you will NOT get tower 6.

Does anyone know building /unit numbers for Sunday check in 4 bedroom presidential units with good Fireworks views?

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks guys.

Rather than focus on villa numbers, I would just call the resort and tell them what you want. The "fireworks view" room numbers vary depending on which side of the lake you are on.

The other consideration for me is whether I expect to be sitting in my room/balcony at 9 PM each night watching fireworks. Generally, the answer to that is no...for me. For that reason, I'd rather have a nice lake view 24 hours a day rather than a view of distant fireworks for 30 minutes a day. (The Epcot fireworks are a couple of miles away, and the MK fireworks are WAY in the distance.)

However, I believe if you are in Towers 1, 2, or 3, the lake views are also fireworks views if your view is not blocked by other buildings.

I would give more thought to the makeup of the group, and what activities they will enjoy, than the refurbishment date.

We are rather partial to Tower 4, Lake View. On one side of Tower 4 is a large, free gas BBQ area with tables, shade structure, etc. A little further in that direction is the main building, with activity center, main pool with lazy river, etc.

AT Tower 4 is the only adult-style pool and poolside bar with frequent live entertainment (games, music, etc.). There is also a sorta cool walkway out into the lake. Just a few steps away is the Tower 5 pool, with large themed lazy river and cabanas. Further in that direction is another BBQ area, and then the Tower 6 (Pirate) pool with waterslide and poolside bar. The Pirate pool is +/- 100 yards from Tower 4.

The only downside to Tower 4 (to me) is a rather small parking lot. However, there is a large parking garage between 4 & 5, and we never had a problem finding a nearby place to park.

The whole complex is nice, and I don't think there are any bad choices of building. In some locations, you could have nothing more than a parking lot view, especially if you are on a lower floor -- or a "trees blocking any view." If you want to be sure to be able to see something, ask for a higher floor.

tower 6 does have regular (non presidential units) we stayed in a 3bd deluxe in tower 6 a year ago . my kids loved the pirate pool . We really liked Bonnet Creek. we had a lake view with no fireworks view.

I also stayed in tower 6 in a 1-bedroom non-presidential unit. I also stayed for 3 days in a 1-bedroom presidential

If they are working on the buildings are they adding wireless internet? We have stayed in 1 & 2 bedroom standard units and they had wired internet. But when we stayed in the 1 and 3 bedroom predidentail units they had wireless.

Has anyone stayed in the main reception building at BC (the low rise building with the main lobby, big game room, etc)?

We are planning to go back to BC in the fall. We have two kids who might like all the fun stuff in the reception building.

Is it noisey there? Are the units renovated or in good shape?

We were in building 4 last week and there was free wi-fi.
