ive heard they charge for parking and other things. Can someone verify total charges for a week stay?

They do not charge for parking and there isn't a resort fee to be paid when you check in.

The only charge I’ve heard about (aside from other pay-as-you-go items such as spa treatments) was a per person charge for the shuttle to the Disney parks. As a family of 5, the shuttle was more expensive and less convenient than simply driving to the parks and paying for Disney parking.

There is a parking charge at the Wyndham Grand hotel at Bonnet Creek, but not at the Club Wyndham buildings. Different entrance, so it isn't confusing when you're there, but confusing when all of the info is flying around on the internet.

At one time there was a resort fee. Did not last long and then they started to charge for the shuttle.

Other then what has already been mentioned, I heard there was a package handling fee if you have packages delivered there. If you order something, have it held at the local UPS/FedEx/USPS location, and pick it up from there.

Amazon has a locker program where they will deliver your package to an Amazon locker in the area. We're in Destin and yesterday had a package delivered to an Amazon locked at a local Whole Foods. Amazon emails you a code to open the locker when the package arrives. The process works great.
