BoardWalk Villas room request

Going to BoardWalk Villas for the first time and the assigned room type is 1-bed Garden or Pool view when I add it to the app. Is there a room that I can see fireworks and can I request that? Otherwise think any room would work well but curious if anything you like or hate particularly. Thank you for any input.

That's a tough request - there are about 8 rooms on each floor facing the village green (+ part lake view) and the ones on higher floors may see some fireworks. But 7 of the 8 rooms are studios... For that 1BR you'll need to ask for 5051 or 4051, but it's obviously a longshot... The village green view is a highly popular request, high floor is a highly popular request, and requests are prioritized in order of when the request is made.

We own there and my last request (boardwalk view room) for a high floor ended up getting me into an ADA room on the second floor with those lousy "wall balconies" where you have to stand to see the view...

Calling Disney is a pain. On music for 30 mins now and still waiting. Curious if there is an email adress to make the room request.

I have always used the chat feature on the owner site to request rooms. Works great.

yeah, they redirected me to 800-800-9800 for DVC bookings (after 2 calls and 40 mins into it) and the wait time is 25 mins more. What a pain. Will try owner site though it's an exchange

Good luck with your request. I was able to request and get a Village Green room a couple years ago, but we only had a studio, so larger supply to draw from. Who knows - maybe you will get some pixie dust.

Weirdly enough when I tried chat this morning the option wasn't available...but unlike @iftravel my call into DVC had less than a 5 minute wait.
