Bluegreen with II

Hello! I was hoping someone could help me because no one at Bluegreen or II could. I was told Bluegreen trades with both RCI and II, as Bluegreen member I get a free membership with RCI but I wanted to utilize II. When I check the website my specific resort , Mountain Run at Boyne, is not listed as an II resort. I called II and they did say Bluegreen is affiliated but that resort wasn’t in there system. I called Bluegreen and they had no idea how to assist. Just gave me some project number that meant nothing to II
Anyone else have this issue? Or know who I can ask?

While some bluegreen resorts are dual affiliated not all of them are. I do not believe you can join II if your contacted resort is with II. You might want to check out a bluegreen facebook group to find more bluegreen owners who can confirm.

I trade my BG ownership thru II.

First question.
Do your own Bluegreen points or a specific resort?

If you are a points owner you can join II (or add to a current II account) using resort code BLG Bluegreen Vacation Club, Boca Raton ,FL
Under this resort code are approximately 15 BG resorts that can be exchanged into and (some) deposited into II.
Example - La Cabana is listed in II but only fixed week owners can deposit their week.

If your own a fixed/float unit at Mountain Run at Boyne and it is not listed specifically as an II resort, then you can’t deposit it. Just because BG manages a resort doesn’t make it eligible for deposit.

Here are several resorts I have deposited over the years in II. You have to call/ chat with BG and have them make a specific points reservation at the resort that is eligible for II deposit. BG uses the term “ triangulated” reservation because the resie must specifically tied to a deeded unit to be eligible for deposit.

Suites at Hershey
Christmas Mountain
Shenandoah Crossing Resort
Please note that deposit requirements/ unit sizes change over the years and what they once took for deposit might not be current now.
