I have 8000 saved pts and 7850 biennial borrowed pts that both expire on 9/30.

What can I do to use them without just letting them expire? :bawl:
I know I don't have much time. This has just been a bad year for us.

Thanks - maryk

You can make an RCI exchange with the Bluegreen points.

Agree. You can exchange 6 months out with saved points. Even if you just end up with a weekend getaway near home it is something.

When I have saved points that I know I won't use in time, I sometimes gift stays to friends and family if I don't want to bother trying to rent. I am currently arranging a getaway for a friend whose wife is going through cancer treatment. He is happy for the diversion, working on planning a trip, taking him out of the chronic worry headspace. She, also, is excited, thinking about After I Get Through This... If you look around, probably you can find someone very deserving or in need of free lodging somewhere. And, certainly, ample opportunities to rent out if you need to collect $ on the points.

You could also book something to deposit to an exchange company so you can make the exchange another time, when it will be convenient for you to travel. This is generally my last choice but it is the most generous in terms of timeline to finally use up those points. I book as many cheap weeks as I can to deposit, though others may be concerned about trading power. I think the smallest weeks we have are 2000 points.

Good luck, let us know what you do with the leftovers!

Since these pts expire in less than 2 weeks trying to exchange with them probably won't work. I know DAE needs to be at least 8 weeks out.

I agree that RCI is the best way to go, you have a "free membership," paid for with your club dues.
