Bluegreen points purchase at the Cliffs at Long Creek (Big Cedar)

We won the auction yesterday for 72K EOY Bluegreen points at the Cliffs at Long Creek, which is located across the highway at Big Cedar. Does anyone have any feedback for this location and/or the contract? It appears to be exactly what we wanted, but I'm not an expert on Bluegreen.

seems like alot of BG points (although they are eoy)....i think the big thing to be sure of when buying BG points is the sales and trust types...as those determine your annual fees.

The Cliffs at Long Creek are duplexes that are extremely nice. They decorate them with Christmas trees and decorations for Christmas. They have a media room, large living room and open kitchen as well as a nice deck that over looks the Lake. These units sleep 13 people so bring plenty of people as a weeks takes many points during prime season. My favorite time to go there is right now because its cozy and decorated.

The contract is Trust E and Sale type A and it's EOY 72K points for even years (I believe it's good for even years), though the earn date for the points is 11/1/2015, so I guess the underlying weeks are for even years? Also, these points are for partial weeks (either W/TH/F or Sa/Su depending on which week).

I knew that all the units were 5BRs. But, I wasn't positive if it's typical Big Cedar quality or not. Based on Angela's reply, it sounds like it is high quality.

Also, since the points are for even years, I believe we get two full years to use the points - though I've heard that half will have to be used each year.

There's several reasons why this works out very well for us, and the main one is being lucky enough to live within a 45 minute drive from the resort. That should make it easier for family members to join us. The underlying weeks (partial) are good fits for our schedule also - week 12, week 29, week 29, and week 48.

My concern would be the limited feedback of the seller. MF are going to be due soon for 2016 but BG can take a few months to transfer. Also be aware that there have been recent reports of ROFR.
