Bluegreen points for cruise

Has anyone used Bluegreen points to book a cruise? We generally get better deals paying for our cruise, as we live in FL and can get discounts. But, we are thinking of giving it a try. My question is whether the points cover the port fees and taxes, or whether that is in addition to the points amount?
