Bluegreen HGV max full/ultimate?

Are there different levels of priority or status for hgv max for bluegreen? I have been to 2 different presentations and heard that after you buy into hgv max you need to make a second purchase to unlock more location and more benefits. Is this true? I believe they called it full hgv max or hgv ultimate. Thanks for your insight. How would you go about finding out the truth?

I doubt it. We are same Diamond/Max and i dont care what sales says we are NOT ever going to buy more points.

I kind of wondered how they will handle this in the future. Obviously everytime they do an acquisition they are going to want to make more money from MAX users who already purchased. Would not surprise me if they have tier add ons to MAx in the future. But this sounds like sales bs this time

I agree that it makes sense to add it on in the future. I would do it if I ran the business. However, there is no documentation whatsoever. So the only people that might know are people that can see what different status levels look like. I spoke to customer service for Blue Green and they say your diamond status carries into your priority. So if you listed as diamond and Hilton honors. Then that means your hgvmax priority would be the highest priority. This seems to be how it operates for centium + level for hgv owners so I would expect the same here.

I've heard this pitch at two different locations and my mother-in-law has heard it at two different locations. So they must be using it. When you're talking 24K to 120k for these upgrades. It should be criminal to make these kind of promises and have no way of holding a representatice accountable. Which is why I filed a customer care complaint with blue green.

Do a search for HGV Max - there's lots of posts in the HGVC and HVC sub-forums as it was introduced there first and is the same program (an exchange system) for all Hilton timeshares with small variations. The general opinion is it is way too expensive to buy into (inflated deed or point values on purchase of "more" 1in the timeshare system you have) and doesn't have the availability they brag about. Getting Interval / RCI / other annual exchange system offers much more in actual practice and is 10's of thousands cheaper.

how many properties are truly available in hgv max for diamond club owners currently in HGV max? any idea? Bluegreen owners may have 20 properties open. Not sure what kind of availability they have yet.

Would never buy more developer points for any reason so can't give you "availability" on their site. Bookings can only start at 6 or 7 months out from CHECKOUT date (where HGVC is a 11-12 months out) and are exchanges so dépend on how many members with HGV Max have given up their own time to go somewhere else. Embarc has only about 10% of its members with Max. That's not going to be much inventory + at peak times everything is booked at 11 months out by those not using Max. Apparently Hilton is in a similar situation. Not sure about Diamond - but postings seem to support the trend.

I have never understood why any knowledgeable Timeshare person would buy into MAX as an addon.

Max is expensive and the resorts are old. Once I saw the list I realized could get them thru RCI as an extra vacation cheaper. 7k buys a lot of extra weeks, bet it’s even more for Max now, this was when it first rolled out.

And for a lot of stuff it still seems like trying to get DeX would be the best for access to some of the DRI and Embarc properties in price to availability. Though I haven't gotten access myself to check. I will say I see lots of old DRI properties in RCI too and that's how I would get them.

You are already HGV Max with either HGVC or HVC or bHC or Embarc. You should already understand that a salesperson will always try to sell you something. Don’t fall for FOMO and re-read the above posts with already excellent advice.

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. Are you a HVC (former DRI) owner or Diamond Hilton Honors member? It Diamond HH, that would mean nothing in Hilton TS.
