This is one of my favorite Bluegreen Resorts. It is a historically perserved building right on East Bay street in the historic district of Charleston. Walking distance from everthing. Each unit is uniquely decorated with its own floor plan. There are only 5 two bedroom units in the resort, so your best bet is to try to get a studio or 1br unit.
If you are thinking about getting this on exchange, you will have a very hard time getting it since the unit must be deposited by a Bluegreen owner and they don't do it that much.
Your best bet is to do a direct trade with a Bluegreen owner. If you book out far enough, they should be able to get you what you want.
As far as being comparable to a Disney resort, that's hard to say since Bluegreen and DVC are such different programs. Lodge Alley Inn is a very small resort whereas all of the Disney resorts are huge.
If you are interested in some type of exchange, let me know and I'll see if I can find an owner willing to help you out.
