Beware of emails from scammer Bernard Springfield/Cleopatra Woetzel

Received this today from Mr. Springfield - the weird thing is that the email came from Cleopatra Woetzel???

Hello, My name is Bernard Springfield and I'm part of a group of private investors who are currently purchasing hotels with 12-200 rooms. We are interested primarily in properties near major freeways and without need for major renovations. Location does not matter, but we favor properties within the continental US. If you have any properties fitting that description or come across any that fit our criteria I would love to speak with you! We have multiple investors commanding a fairly substantial capital budget so please contact me regardess of the size of the property or the asking price. Thanks in advance! I do have to give kudos to Mr. Springfield though, because just 2 short years ago he was selling pyramid marketing schemes for energy drinks and now he represents "a group of private investors," with "a fairly substantial capital budget." I guess that energy drink sold really well!

Bernard is not happy....

I have gotten 2 emails from him:

My name is Bernard Springfield and it's come to my attention that you posted about me on www.tugbbs.com as being a scammer.

Definition: obtaining money by means of deception including fake personalities, fake photos, fake template letters, non-existent addresses and phone numbers, forged documents.

I've NEVER Scammed, deceived, or tried to hide who I am... I don't understand why you would slander my name is such a way. I left you my name, email address and phone number. I do work with Private Investors and we DO buy commercial properties.

Please have all slandering comments revised and corrected.

All you had to do was call me and you would have seen for yourself that I'm a real person with no motive of Scamming.

This is really funny! These kind of people cost me $495. (of course, I fell for it!)

/Sarcasm/ Because, if you had called him and indeed confirmed that he was a "real person," that would definitely mean that he's not a scammer because scammers aren't "real people."
They must be "pretend people." /Sarcasm/ LOL
