I received a call from a person from Alpharooms stating they wanted to buy my Holiday Inn membership. After two months of Mexicans presenting themselves as financial entities and me owning many dues, fees, TAXES and threatening me with arrest if i did not pay them capital gains; (an attorney names Jeff Johnson out of NY, NY also was in on the scam) of course that is not his real name. The DA cannot find the attorney in NY and also this was reported to OAG: as well as Mexican Consulate in PHoenix where I live. THis cost me 30,000$. Do NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ANY PERSONS FROM MEXICO STATING THEY WANT TO BUY OR SELL TIME SHARE TO YOU.

Sorry for your loss. This has been an ongoing subject on Tug. There are NO foreign buyers of Mexican timeshares. EVERY SINGLE inquiry is a scam. Your posting may help someone in the future, but it is unfortunate that this happened to you.

Here is a thread that happened one week after you registered on Tug. It actually mentioned Alpharooms in the topic.
